There is even talk that some of the Australian states and provinces are not fully going to implement the recommendations. That the Australian federal government is going to have to use their constitutional power to implement the recommendations for those states.

Repeal of Internet Neutrality. How will it affect surfers?
by Fisherman intoday the fcc voted against internet neutrality..
-
John Davis
Net neutrality really isn't an issue that some people think of it as, they think that the carriers are going to be charging consumers differently, that is not so. What carriers will now be able to do is charge content developers for the right to send their content faster. So Netflix can pay Charter so that Charter will give their content better service than they will give to Hulu. Net neutrality said that all content must be treated the same no matter who created it or where the source is. There are two main problems, first content makers may raise prices because they may choose pay carriers for the right to this faster service. Second, newer content companies without a lot of backing may not be able to pay carriers for these faster services which may stifle competition.

The electorate did not legally elect President Trump. The legal means of electing the President lies in the electoral college. Those electors are the ones who actually elected the President. And since there is no accusations that those electors were illegally coerced into voting for President Trump, his election is valid no matter what a court might find.
There is some dispute in whether the President can be indicted while still in office. Some say that because he is the chief law enforcement officer he cannot be indicted while in office. Others say that his office cannot bar him from being indicted for a crime prior to him taking the oath. And even if he is convicted it raises the question would a conviction immediately remove him from office, since the constitution only gives two ways to remove a sitting president from office legally either by impeachment and removal or by the 25th where the cabinet and the VP deems that he cannot fulfill his duties and even with that the president has the right to dispute that fact with Congress.

Last week there was an ex-parte hearing on lifting the hold on the proceedings. There is still no decision posted on the court's website. But it does appear that it is not going to be 2 million but it will pick back up once the hold is lifted.

Most likely the reason why 1. it is only in Ontario is because the Cutting Unnecessary Red Tape Act, 2017(Bill 154) had passed and was approved. This bill is only affecting Ontario and it speaks of changes to non-profit organizations structures and how certain paperwork can be filed. http://www.ontla.on.ca/web/bills/bills_detail.do?locale=en&Intranet=&BillID=5000
Section 8
The other reason why it may be selected congregations is not all congregations may have to have a corporation associated with it, at least that is in the US. Only congregations that hold the real property title have to have an associated corporation in order to own the property. If there is 3 congregations in the kingdom hall only one congregation needs a corporation for the purpose of holding the title of the land and building.

There is all of 19000 people in the metro area according to the 2000 census. So about 50 people in a congregation makes sense for that small of a population.

Where is the Annual Meeting 2017?
by pomo6780 inhmm, it's taken the big gb a long while to approve the annual meeting to be uploaded to their beloved tv.jw.org site.
well.... from what i've read, it looks like they'll probably have to cut out a lot of embarrassing bits.
wonder how lett's "immorality ... i mean immortality" would look on an official society video?

It could also be that it is a 3 hour program that needs to be translated into a number of languages. They could just be waiting for more languages to be ready to post it in a number of languages at once.

Jehovah`s Witnesses / Governing Body Claim To Abhor Child Sexual Abuse Within Their Congregations /Members who are victims.?
by smiddy3 inso my question to them is why have they continually failed to report incidents of child sexual abuse of child members in their congregations to the appropriate authorities ,either police or child protection agency`s, when they are holding judicial committees into these allegations in their congregations when they occur or even some time after ?.
they have consistently failed to do so.. and this failure to do so is not confined to one country ,it is a pattern that is repeated worldwide ,in one country after another country .
(worldwide where they operate in ).

smiddy3 the only thing the ARC can do is submit a report. They are not a legislative body, they cannot change laws can only make recommendations that can be followed or ignored by the federal government or the local governments.

why won't legal department simply release all the secret pedophile files?
by poopie inwhat do you think there hiding?.
-
John Davis
Even look at the ARC the ARC recognized that people have a privacy right so they reported on matters of the cases but removed names and identifying features. Same thing in the US in the San Diego cases the court recognizes that there are legitimate privacy concerns not just for the victims but even the accused that is why there are protective orders in place.

I am not suggesting that you are giving an excuse at all. I am agreeing with you that it is a complex matter and it isn't as simple as people think it is.
